What is the Sapphire FUE technique?
Sapphire FUE is the process of removing grafts from the nape of the neck and transferring them to the area where baldness occurs, as in normal FUE hair transplantation. Unlike normal, the Sapphire FUE technique is the use of diamond tips instead of micro motors for channels opened before planting. Diamond bits are disposable and become garbage after each operation. Perfect natural appearance can be achieved in operations with the sapphire FUE technique.
Differences between Sapphire FUE and classic FUE/h2>
Sapphire FUE
Sapphire FUE disposable Sapphire knife, which we call the precious metal used in the channel opening section, is used in the area where hair transplantation will be performed. Channels opened with sapphire Blades will heal very quickly, providing a tiny level of crust after hair transplantation. The channels that open will definitely close without a trace. Because Sapphire tips are antibacterial, it is possible to reduce the risk of infection during the operation to zero.
Classic FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
In operations with classic FUE, the healing process is longer than the Sapphire method. The channels opened are wider, not minimal. Frequent October in the FUE method is more difficult than the Sapphire method. The risk of edema in the FUE method is greater than in Sapphire. The loss of planted graft is greater during and after October than by the Sapphire method.
AkinMed hair transplantation clinic, we use the Sapphire FUE method in our operations and prefer PRP after the operation.
